Makeup trial & Consultation
£105
A Wedding Trial is essential for the Bride in in ensuring that you are happy with how you will look on your big day and to also ensure that you don’t have any sensitivities to the products used.
At your trial we will have a relaxed chat looking through any ideas you have whether it be magazine cuttings/ Pinterest boards (if you have one) colour swatches etc and discuss these ideas further creating the perfect timeless look for your big day.
It’s important to look like an enhanced version of yourself on your wedding day not a completely different person, so we will take into account what you normally do with your makeup.
It’s always advisable to have a Makeup trial at least 2-3 months before your Wedding as it is important to get the look correct for the special day ensuring everything wears perfectly on your skin. We will also talk through the logistics for your wedding morning.
The Bridal makeup that I apply is designed to give you a perfect, long lasting look to be amazing both for you & your photographs.
I can make over a maximum of 4 people including yourself in your wedding party however, If your wedding party exceeds this I will need to bring in another artist to help on the wedding morning - Trials can be arranged with this artist also if required.
Once we are happy with the look, I will note down products and techniques used and take photos to accompany the notes, so it’s easy to recreate your chosen look on your wedding day.
Trials generally take around 2 hours but there’s no time limit as I won’t leave you until you are completely happy with the bridal look we have created. If you would like to bring a member of your bridal party with you, then please feel free to do so.

Bridal Q & A
When do you recommend I have a trial for my wedding makeup?
Typically I always suggest that my brides have their trial 2-3 months before the wedding. Of course the decision is entirely yours - Makeup is an exciting part of your big day, I have some brides that request trials 6 months to a year in advance.
Can other members of the bridal party have trials?
Of course! It isn't a necessity but any one in the bridal party is more than welcome to have a Makeup trial. Alternatively I offer 121 makeup lessons if they would prefer do their makeup themselves on the day but would like to learn some tips and tricks before hand.
How should I prepare for my Appointment?
Leading up to your Wedding Day it is always useful to drink lots of water and look after your skin by Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising. These things are of course not essential however, they will help with how your makeup will look on the day and how long it will last.
Please arrive to your trial with a clean face where possible as this will save time rather then eating away at your appointment time.
I would also advise wearing something loose that is easy to lift over your head to ensure you don’t ruin your makeup application after.
If you are planning to get a spray tan done prior to your appointment, please either avoid the face or have minimal spray on it, as it can stick to dry or rough patches.
If you plan on having a spray tan for your Wedding, I would definitely advise also getting one done for your trial so you can see the best representation of how your makeup will look on the day.
Do you Travel?
As a freelance makeup artist I am of course more than happy to travel within the 15mile radius of my home in Cobham, Surrey for no extra cost on your wedding day however, anything outside this radius will be an additional 50p per mile.
Do I have to pay a Deposit?
·A non-refundable £50 deposit is required at the time of booking your trial to secure your wedding date.
Your deposit will then be deducted from the total cost of your Wedding Day and the remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before your Wedding Date.
Trial cost is due 24 hours before your appointment.
Cancellations made by the client less than 2 weeks before the event date will remain chargeable at the full quoted price.
In the unlikely event that I myself have to cancel, you will receive 100% refund of any monies already paid (including the £50 booking fee).
Any bookings which incur parking costs or a congestion charge will be payable also.
Do you Travel to Weddings Overseas?
I love nothing more then a Wedding overseas, and am more then happy to Travel.
Normal Wedding Day fees will apply
An additional £200 will be added to cover both Travel Days
Flights, Transfers, Luggage and accommodation would also need to be covered.
